Certificates and Literacy magic

Term 1, Week 10

Kia Ora Whanau/Caregivers,

wow, only ONE week to go until Term one finishes. This has been a very hectic and busy term. All of the Teachers will be spending the first few days at GAFE in Auckland, where we will be learning how to become more ICT savvy.

Swimming is about to finish as the water is becoming too chilly. Thank you to all the wonderful caring parents and Nannies that came to see me to discuss their children's learning on Tuesday night.

Today as a reading activity, the children were required to find some interesting words from their reading book and then make them using magnetic letters.

Wakaroa, Bevan and Ariana with their class certificates they received today. Ariana has a wonderful attitude to learning . Bevan is turning into a fantastic writer and Wakaroa is the most caring student in Room 8.

Next week is the last Assembly for the term. Room 8 will be hosting this. Please come and support your Tamariki to make this a memorable experience for us all.

Have a great weekend
Mrs Birchall and Room 8
